Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
SES GS is developing a small form factor platform that will support antennas capable of communicating with SES's Ka-band spectrum satellites operated in non-geostationary orbit by O3b Limited. The platform will serve as proof of concept for a government end user who is interested in the low latency aspect of this transmission and the small form factor. SES GS is seeking experimental authority to demonstrate and assess the use of this antenna to support various applications including disaster response, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance technologies and other applications designed to support U.S. government and non-governmental organizations.
