Box 358320 Pittsburgh, PA 15251—5320 Re: Samsung Electronics ("Samsung") STA Request Under separate cover an application for an Experimental License has been filed including the appropriate filing fee to Melon Bank on FCC Form 442 with Exhibits. This STA request is supported by FCC Rules §5.56 and will permit use of the Experimental License at Samsung‘s Customer Service Center ("CBC") in Richardson, Texas. The experimental license will permit demonstration to proposed customers and get their feedback as to options desired and modifications to meet the Public‘s needs. It is desired to start the experimental testing and demonstration August 10, 2000. Other locations within the 48 states would include on—site demonstrations in addition to those in the CBC Building. The use of specific operating frequencies will be coordinated with local cellular providers at each location prior to on—air operation. See attached Exhibit A, B, C and D.
