Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We are requesting this STA to provide live demonstrations at the CTIA tradeshow in Las Vegas, Nevada from 4/2/06 to 4/9/06

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Demonstrating a CDMA mobile device and WiMAX technology at the CTIA trade show. Samsung plans to demonstrate that existing CDMA mobil devise can communicate and thus make basic calls. The Samsung SpotBTS fixed base unit is a low power transmitter. It is a single band/single carrier unit. It requires a exteranl GPS antenna for operation. It will be placed in a fixed location and will communicate with CDMA mobile devices. The antenna configuration will be omni. Also, Samsung will demonstrate their WiMAX technobogy utilizing the 2.3GHz band. The antenna will be directional and mounted at 6 feet.
