Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
SAIC has previously operated a proprietary data-link system under Experimental Licence. This license, although currently expired, provided fo operation in and around our San Diego facilities. As part of a contract program with US Army - PEO-STRI, SAIC must test and demonstrate the performance of this data link in the Orlando FL area over the next several months, concluding around Sept 30, 2013. The setup, test and formal demonstration will be intermittent and will only require 2-10 days in any one testing period.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Demonstration of data link system requirements as specified by the contract between SAIC and US ARMY - PEO-STRI. The operation will demonstrate the data link system requirements as specified by the contract between SAIC and US ARMY - PEO-STRI. This includes the data transfer between the mobile elements and Fixed elements, consisting of Position Location information as well as certain types of events that are collected at mobile stations
