They will be operated in compliance with part 107 (under FAA rules) operated by the University of Iowa Operator Performance Laboratory. Additionally, UAS operation is not dependent on the radar installation for the purposes of the test; all UAS operations are performed within visual line of sight of the pilot or a visual observer.
