Rockwell Collins, Inc. Call Sign WH2XNM File Number 0042-EX-ML-2016 Exhibit: Description of Proposed Modification Rockwell Collins, Inc. (Rockwell Collins) respectfully requests modification of its experimental license (Call Sign WH2XNM) to incorporate an additional antenna under the same operating parameters set forth in its application File Number 0042-EX-ML-2016. As set forth in greater detail in its exhibits accompanying the initial application for this experimental license, Rockwell Collins uses this experimental license to conduct developmental testing of VHF Datalink radio equipment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The additional antenna requested in application File Number 0042-EX-ML-2016 will enable Rockwell Collins to continue its testing in one additional location at the Cedar Rapids, Iowa site. This antenna will use the same operating parameters as the other approved antennas, including the approved frequencies. Rockwell Collins anticipates that these experiments would be subject to the same conditions that apply to its existing license, including the requirement to immediately cease operations in the unlikely event that an existing licensee experiences harmful interference as a result of these experiments.
