Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
A STA in necessary to conduct two separate flight test at Edwards AFB, CA. The first test will be conducted on October 28, 2015 and the second test will be conducted on December 9, 2015. Please be aware these test may slip before testing.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Raytheon will conduct flight testing aboard Edwards AFB. Raytheon will conduct flight testing aboard Edwards AFB. The RACR radar tests aboard the RMT will be used to characterize and verify the performance of this next generation of radar. Test will consist of Air to Air search and track against either F-16 or F/A-18 targets (supplied by EAFB) along with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) mapping of existing arrays and locations.
