Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The ESSM TM will be used to downlink test information for the ESSM section of the AMRAAM-ER missile. This telemetry data is required to assess the performance of the AMRAAM-Extended Range missile being developed by Raytheon. This demonstration test event is being conducted at White Sands Missile Range at the West Center-50 (WC-50) site.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To develop an extended-range AMRAAM, integrate with NASAMS and AESA Sentinel and demonstrate with 2 live firings.
