1. Purpose of Operation
. Mission statement: This is a Corporate funded investment to develop an extended–range
AMRAAM, integrate with NASAMS and Sentinel Radar System and demonstrate with live
firings. This demonstration will demonstrate the end to end kill chain for the AIM-9X
effector integration into the National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System
(NASAMS). The demonstration will use a Sentinel F1 Radar to detect, acquire and
track targets of opportunity in the local air space. That track data will be used to queue
an inert AIM-9X missile surrogate IR seeker. The intent is to show the data path from
Radar to effector works as expected.

2. Experimental Explanations
AMRAAM, integrate with NASAMS and Sentinel and demonstrate with live firings. Will
conduct developmental testing and evaluation on the radar system Most of the time,
programmed search scanning is within the vertical region of 0 to 15 degrees, covering a vertical
sector of sequential beams in about 13 milliseconds. Search scanning is interrupted by
individual beams placed anywhere within the electronic scan volume as necessary to maintain
track on previously detected aircraft or projectiles
