Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We will be using software defined radios (SDRs) to conduct various R&D efforts on several wireless bands/services. These projects will require use both transmit and receive wireless signals. Signal will be radiated at the lowest power possible to conduct the experiments. This filing is a pre-course to applying for the experimental radio station authorization license.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To test various wireless technologies. The purpose of the operation is: 1. Get hands on experience working with GSM, LTE, IEEE 802.11g/n Wifi, and bluetooth class 1/class2 wireless services to gain a better understanding on how they operate 2. Construct a wireless research lab using USRPs and open source tools; targeting GSM, LTE, IEEE 802.11g/n Wifi, and bluetooth wireless technologies. 3. Research security posture of the target wireless services with the intent to gain knowledge and propose solutions to improve security
