                         LTE B30 Experiment Description

1 Introduction
Qualcomm's technologies powered the smartphone revolution and connected billions of people.
We pioneered 3G and 4G – and now we are leading the way to 5G and a new era of intelligent,
connected devices. Our products are revolutionizing industries, including automotive, computing,
IoT, healthcare and data center, and are allowing millions of devices to connect with each other in
ways never before imagined. Qualcomm Incorporated includes our licensing business, QTL, and
the vast majority of our patent portfolio. Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of
Qualcomm Incorporated, operates, along with its subsidiaries, all of our engineering, research and
development functions, and all of our products and services businesses, including, our QCT
semiconductor business.

Qualcomm is requesting an experimental license requests authorization to test development user
equipment (less than 100 active units) anywhere in the United States for the purposes of
technology development and demonstration of LTE technologies on mobile devices. This
experimental license request is limited to the testing of mobile device transmitters in the WCS
band, also known as 3GPP Band 30 (2305-2315 uplink and 2350-2360 MHz downlink). Base
station, or downlink operation, is not requested.

Qualcomm currently has two similar flexible experimental licenses for the cellular band (call sign
KM2XJY) and PCS band (call sign KK2XBJ) where testing is allowed anywhere in the United
States.

2 Experiment Description
Demonstrations will occur at any location within the United States in support of, but not limited
to, government agencies, private companies, and tradeshows. Testing of mobile device will occur
anywhere in the United State where the mobile device is connected to a commercial B30 LTE
network.

3 Transmitter Information
Table 1 summarizes the location, frequencies, and transmit information requested in this license
application.
