Dove 2 Post Launch Notification

The Dove 2 satellite was launched at 10:00 UTC April 19, 2013 aboard the Soyuz rocket. As planned, the
Dove 2 satellite remained stowed inside the main payload, the Bion M-1, for 48 hours until ejected. Due
to unforeseen operational restrictions imposed by the main payload, the Dove 2 satellite was placed in a
higher orbit than originally planned. The original approximation for the Dove 2 orbit was 290 x 575
km, 64.9 degree inclination; the actual orbit of Dove 2 is 575 x 575 km, 64.9 degree inclination orbit.

Preliminary analysis for the updated Dove 2 orbit shows an operational lifetime of at least 2 years, and a
total time in orbit which complies within the 25 year de-orbit regulations. A higher fidelity analysis is
currently being conducted. The results will be included in a separate licensing update.

Transmissions were commenced from the first day once released in orbit and we have positive control
of the satellite. We believe the Space-Track Catalog designation number is 39132.
