Message:

When Optimera initially filed the confidential exhibit on 3/12/07 we had thought our experiment should be
privet due to confidential ideas involved. We then resubmitted an exhibit on 3/13/07 which was the same
exhibit filed on 3/12/07. After internal discussion of the goals of this experiment we thought it prudent that
the general public have access to this idea if they so chose to research it.

We believe that this experiment can greatly increase the communication ability of the vessels in the
Bering Sea and around the world and there for want to share the progress and idea with the world. Our
hope is that the mariner men, women, and organizations working in the different waters around the world
may soon have the access to the high-bandwidth tele-medicine applications available on land.

In addition, the market potential can also be observed through the life of the experiment. Ideally other
companies will have the means to get involved in this concept and begin thinking outside the box to
develop a new generation of maritime communications.
