Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Special Temporary Authorization is necessary in order to test a limited number of prototype terminals that will communicate with an existing Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellite, which was launched in 2001 but which has never been used for commercial services. If successful, Omnispace intends to pursue manufacture of commercial units for deployment primarily in remote regions of the world. As explained, such tests will be conducted for a short duration for a limited period of time.
