O3b seeks additional time to complete its market trials conducted via the underlying STA (File No. 1033-EX-ST-2017; Call Sign: WI9XWL). The terminal requires additional evaluation time due to the novelty and complexity of communicating with both NGSO and GSO satellites.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  O3b and its customers will continue to evaluate how the multi-band, multi-orbit maritime terminals respond to this new service delivery method and troubleshoot any complications that may arise.
