NSN needs access to AWS spectrum to conduct interoperability testing of its 1.7/1.9/2.1 GHz UMTS/GSM handsets and 2G-3G core network equipment. Testing will also include the transmission of voice, video, and data using UMTS technology and equipment for Advanced Wirelss Swervices (AWS).
