Mr. Diliani,

Will the base station using 2110-2155 MHz at 1000 watts be fixed at 200 S. Wacker Dr. 35th Floor, Chicago, IL 60606, or
will the base station be used in temporary fixed locations within 32.2 km of 200 S. Wacker Dr. 35th Floor, Chicago, IL
60606? Please note that the reported geographical coordinates are incorrect (in reverse order) and identify a location in
Lake Michigan and not 200 S. Wacker Dr. 35th Floor, Chicago, IL 60606. Please answer the aforesaid question and
report the correct coordinates. Unfortunately, I have already sent the incorrect coordinates to our evaluators which I hope
will not prevent their review of your request.

        John,

Yes, we can use the same designator for the terminal also.
        Thanks
        Dimitri Diliani

Is the 1710-1755 MHz emission designator 5M00F9W like the 2110-2155 MHz band?

Do you need experimental licensing under this STA for the mobile handsets (in which case the power would
be a lot lower than 2308 watts ERP, and I would still need an emission designator for this band)?
Otherwise, I will delete the 1710-1755 MHz band since it is receive only for the base station.

For the Base Station at the cell site, yes.

A mobile handset would transmit in 1710-1755 MHz range.

Are you saying that 1710-1755 MHz is receive only, then what is transmitting the 1710-1755 MHz that
will be received, a transmitter that is already licensed under a regular service or some other
                  experimental license?

                         Mr. Kennedy,

                         Additional information as requested:

The 1710-1755 MHz band is the uplink (UL) receive of the base station, therefore there are no
RF emissions from the base station, hence no Emission Designator is definable for the base
                         station in this band.

As an FYI, the last 3 digits are the emission designator are the emission symbols, in this case
                         F9W.
2110-2155 MHz (Base Station DL/Tx), Emission Designator: 5M00F9W

The peak effective radiated power for the band 2110-2155 MHz is 1000 Watts.
