FCC Form 405 Page 1 of 1 Further Supplement New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (“New Cingular”), licensee of Experimental Radio Station WA2XIG, hereby provides this further supplement in support of its application for license renewal.1 As previously reported, while New Cingular holds nationwide authority under its experimental license, it does not conduct nationwide experiments or nationwide market studies relying upon the authority of this experimental license. Rather, it conducts sporadic experiments in various portions of the country, for limited periods of time, usually several months or less. To the extent New Cingular plans to engage in nationwide experiments or any market studies relying upon the authority of this experimental license, it will so notify the Commission in advance of operations. New Cingular does not sell experimental equipment, nor does it charge service fees for the use of experimental equipment. Upon the completion of any experimentation, all experimental equipment is collected by New Cingular for further evaluation or salvage, or such equipment is returned to the vendor. In light of the foregoing, Cingular respectfully submits that renewal of its Experimental Radio Station license would be consistent with the public interest, convenience and necessity, and is therefore warranted. 1 FCC File No. 0027-EX-RR-2005.
