Request for Renewal Supplementary Statement

New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (“Applicant”) seeks to renew its experimental
authority under call sign WA2XIG for an additional period of five (5) years. No changes to the
station have taken place since the Commission’s 2003 grant of Applicant’s renewal application
filed December 30, 2002 (See FCC File No. 0164-EX-RR-2002). The authorization will
continue to be used to evaluate the performance of PCS equipment in an RF environment which
consists of numerous technologies utilizing different frequency bands. Applicant respectfully
references the exhibits submitted with its previously filed applications regarding this station for a
full description of the experimental program. Accordingly, grant of the instant application for
renewal will serve the public interest, convenience and necessity.
