Hi Nimesh,

Thank you for these questions on the GEARRS-3 application.

For the Spacecap (items 1 and 2) we provide an updated database, attached, with the extension change
to .txt.  The database is also included in the attached package, along with the radiation pattern
diagrams and other related documents, and the API cover letter is attached.

???????Specifically,

1) In the emissions tab, the Rx’s are given a BW of 1.25MHz and the Tx’s a BW of
1.23MHz. Both should be 1.23MHz.

Answer: In the Emissions Tab, we have changed the BW of the Rx's to 1.23 MHz as indicated.

2) The minimum power densities are all below -60. Please verify that all power densities are correct

Answer: We have reviewed the Minimum Power density values.  We have changed the values
associated with the Duplex beams to be consistent with data from Globalstar.

3) The NOAA license refers to the NSLSAT-1 not Gearrs-3. Please clarify and confirm the CubeSat name

Answer: After the application was filed, the name of the spacecraft was changed from NSLSAT-1 to
GEARRS-3, because we discovered that the name NSLSAT-1 had already been used for a satellite, by
an related organization.  An updated "License Not Required" letter referencing
GEARRS-3 was obtained from NOAA, and posted to the application as an exhibit.  The following
reference from the list of exhibits is for this document:

Text Documents    GEARRS 3 NOAA No License Needed Letter
 07/13/2019

The letter is also attached to this email.

Please let me know anything else required.  It would be very helpful to give the license to the
launch integrator quite soon.

Thanks again for your help with this.

Mike
