        y b number S$—3207—EX—98, Call Sign KS2XAN (copy of license attached hereto as "Exhibit 1") to
 1f           include frequencies 27.8175 GHz and 28.2275 GHz to operate Nortel‘s Reunion product.
V             Authority is requested for designated territories of the Continental United States and Its
              Possessions. Nortel is requesting this STA per the requirements and guidelines set forth in 47
              CFR §5.55 and §5.56.

              The modified STA is required for demonstrations of broadband wireless technology to
              accommodate Field Trials, technical demonstrations of equipment or techniques and for
              demonstrations of equipment to prospective purchasers for proposed stations in existing
              service by persons engaged in the business of selling radio equipment. This will be a point to
              point service between two Nortel facilities here in Richardson, Texas. Nortel has the permission
              of the Licensee to operate on these frequencies. This will be used for field trials only to
              customers and distributors and not offered for sale.

              The class of station is Fixed/Base, the Calll Sign is to be assigned by the FCC, and the nature
              of service is Telephony, Video and Data transmission.


Antennas will not extend more than 6 meters above the ground, nor will it extend more than 6
meters above a building.

The equipment is to be used for demonstrations at various locations using 1 unit of Nortel‘s
Reunion product. A product description is attached hereto as Exhibit "2". Below is the
frequency, power, type and bandwidth information requested:

  This special temporary authorization is granted upon the express condition
  that it may be terminated by the Commission at any time without advance
  notice or hearing if in its discretion the need for such action arises.
  Nothing contained herein shall be construed as a finding by the Commission
  that  the  authority herein granted        is   or will be in the public interest
  beyond the express terms hereof.

  This special temporary authorization shall not vest in the grantee any right
  to operate the station nor any right in the use of the frequencies
  desigqgnated in the authorization beyond the term hereof, nor in any other
  manner than authorized herein. Neither the authorization nor the right
  granted hereunder shall be asasigned or otherwise transferred in violation
  of the Communications Act of 1934.  This authorization is subject to the
  right      of use of control by the Government of the United States conferred by
  Section 706 of the Communications Act of 1934.

     2)   Prior to equipment authorization or a determination of compliance,

4T1/871 Microwave Radio
Innova‘s state of the art XP4 Series of Microwave Radios includes a software selectable, 4T1 or
811 data rate radlo, available in all frequency ranges. The 4T1/81T1 radio sets the standard for a
low cost / high reliability design with a proven system architecture. The common IDU,
independent of ODU frequency, provides a simple keypad to configure and control the link.
Available options include 1+1 Protection, SNMP Network Management, and Automatic Transmit
Power Control {(ATPC)}.
