The purpose of this experimental authorization (STA) is to test a digital data telemetry system
that will be used in connection with NASCAR automobile racing events. This second test, at the
Road Atlanta Speedway race track will test the operation of this new system for race vehicle to
pit crew data concerning the race vehicle over short ranges during the race.

The dates of the tests will be October 1-3, 2015 inclusive. The location will be at Road Atlanta
Speedway, 5300 Winder Highway, Breaselton, GA. The coordinates of the track are
34°08′47.38″N Latitude and 83°49′13.48″W Longitude.

Required are three, 10 MHz channel bandwidths and low-power transmissions using
omnidirectional antennas.

Proposed is the use of the bands 2360-2390 MHz for this test. AFTRCC Coordination is being
applied for contemporaneously and will be submitted when received as an amendment to this
application. The ultimate deployment of this telemetry system, should the tests produce positive
results, will not be in this frequency band but this segment in particular is useful for test purposes
