Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Pursuant to Section 5.3(d) and (f) and Section 5.61 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 5.3(d), (f), 5.61 (2012), Motorola Solutions, Inc., requests special temporary authority (STA) from October 23, 2014 through October 29, 2014, to operate in the 758-768/788-798 MHz bands for the purpose of demonstrating prototype broadband Long-Term Evolution (LTE) equipment to public safety agencies at the annual International Association Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference in Orlando, Florida.
