Motorola Solutions, Inc. Application for Experimental License ELS File No. 0541-EX-CN-2019 ATTACHMENT Purpose of Application The above-referenced application seeks renewal of call sign WG2XRE. Motorola Solutions, Inc. (“MSI”) initially sought renewal of the license under ELS File No. 0280- EX-CR-2018, but that application was dismissed without prejudice on June 24, 2019. This filing is being submitted as an application for a new authorization as a substitute for an application for renewal, with the same technical specifications as authorized under call sign WG2XRE, subject to the additional limitations proposed below. MSI also requests that the license processed under this application be issued with the date of grant as the effective date and with an expiration date of twelve months from the effective date. Proposed Operational Conditions This is to advise the FCC that MSI will adhere to the following limitations in connection with the operations requested in the above-referenced application, as mutually agreed upon by MSI and AT&T: (1) Power levels: MSI will outdoor test with a maximum threshold of 5 Watts effective radiated power (“ERP”) per sector with a maximum of 3 sectors with no overlap between sectors exceeding -3dBi gain at the maximum point of overlap. (2) Outdoor scan: MSI will capture outdoor scans and submit to AT&T scanner results at the start of each month. MSI also understands that these limitations may be included as conditions on the grant of experimental authority issued by the FCC.
