Subject: Request for Info - STA File # 0411-EX-ST-2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------
Message:

Justification for the original STA (file # 0150-EX-ST-2002) was that it was for test and
demonstration of mobile terminals not yet approved. What is the equipment approval status at
present? I noticed that you have also filed for a 2-year experimental license to continue this
program. The Experimental Licensing Branch does not routinely grant open-ended licenses for
demonstration of unapproved equipment without explanation of where the project is headed in
the long term and when the equipment will be approved for regular use.

The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above
referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of
November 20, 2002 may result in application dismissal pursuant to Section 5.67 and forfeiture of
the filing fee pursuant to Section 1.1108.
