Per Rule 5.3, Maris Development seeks to provide downlink ground station facilities for experimental
space station authorizations for Capella Space Corporation (“Capella”), Call Sign WJ2XJE and HawkEye
360, Inc. (“Hawkeye”), Call Sign WI2XWX.

Specifically, Maris seeks to downlink at 2240 MHz, 2246 MHz, and 2256 MHz (the “S‐Band downlinks”)
from the authorized HawkEye 360 space stations, and at 8025‐8400 MHz and 8027 MHz (the “X‐Band
downlinks”) from the authorized Capella space stations.

Maris will use its ground station facility in Boardman, Oregon (Call Sign E181611), for which it currently
has a pending license application (SES‐LIC‐20180827‐02512) and a grant of special temporary authority
(SES‐STA‐20181207‐03385; see also SES‐STA‐INTR2019‐00116). For the X‐Band downlinks, Maris hereby
incorporates by reference the technical information for its equipment provided in those applications.

For the S‐Band downlink, Maris will utilize the 5.4m Viasat antenna described in the same applications.
The station class is “Fixed Earth Station”, the output power is n/a and the ERP is 1000W, the emission
designator is 1M32G1D, and the Frequency Tolerance is 0.00%.

Grant of experimental authority here is in the public interest as it will aid in the testing of the earth
imaging technology in both the Capella and Hawkeye constellations and continued testing of the earth
station in the surrounding environment.
