Withdrawal of Request for Special Temporary Authority
FCC File No. 0033—EX—ST—2010, Confirmation No. ELS507502
Dear Ms. Hey:

MTN License Corp. ("MTN"), by its attorneys, hereby withdraws its above—referenced
request for an experimental Special Temporary Authority to operate a 5.0m earth station antenna
in Holmdel, New Jersey to be used as part of a U.S. Air Force program to provide emergency
communications and damage assessment in Haiti in connection with last week‘s devastating
earth quake. MTN is withdrawing its request because it has been informed that the United States
Air Force has been able to make suitable alternative arrangements to achieve the
communications capability that MTN was preparing to provide, and thus that MTN‘s request is
 no longer necessary.

MTN appreciates the impressive responsiveness of the Federal Communications staff in
the processing of this request, particularly the efforts of Messrs. Settle and Greenwalt (OET‘s
contact persons for Haiti earth quake relief and assistance efforts), and regrets any inconvenience
that resulted from the uncertainty of the rapidly—changing requirements of those rushing to
provide that relief. These unfortunate emergencies can arise at any time and at any place, so it is
instructive to know that the Commission as well as MTN is prepared to work to provide help
when and where it is needed.

Please let me know if you have any questions concerning this matter.

                                                             Respectfully submitted,

                                                                        .D.
