Application for Special Temporary Authority
File No. 1964-EX-ST-2018

PURPOSE OF STA AND FREQUENCY COORDINATION

The purpose of this STA is to further test an automobile racing communications system for voice
and telemetry that is in the developmental stage. The tests will occur at a single, three-day test
session in Florida at the Sebring Raceway. The system will be deployed at Sebring by the KS
Active Race Team. The race team will use the communications system on a developmental
testing basis on behalf of and overseen by MRTC Motorsport Communications.

The dates during 2018 when this system will be deployed are December 17-19 inclusive.

The applicant requires ten VHF frequencies as specified in this application for duplex and
simplex voice transmissions, and a single simplex channel at UHF for telemetry to and from the
race vehicles.

The applicant has consulted the ULS database with respect to the VHF and UHF channels sought
and proposes what are believed to be unoccupied channels in the area of the Sebring
International Motor Speedway.

The “stop buzzer” contact on site on behalf of the applicant is Ms. Sascha Fassbender, whose
mobile number is +49-172-410-43-14. Her e-mail is sascha@intereuropol.pl . If a local stop

with the mobile number specified.
