Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This application proposes testing of an automobile race team communications system for operations. It will enable voice communications between crew and race vehicles of a single race team at nine separate venues during October of 2019. An STA is necessary because the system uses land mobile radio equipment that is not licenseable in the United States at the moment due to frequency ranges, and it is proof of concept testing for technology under development.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Testing of automobile racing communications system involving one race team and multiple race vehicles at multiple venues. Please see attached narrative and frequency coordination exhibit.
