Application for Special Temporary Authority
File No. 1640-EX-ST-2016

                 PURPOSE OF STA AND FREQUENCY COORDINATION

The purpose of this STA is to further test an automobile racing communications system for voice
and telemetry that is in the developmental stage. The tests will occur at a single, four-day test
session in Florida at the Sebring Raceway. The system will be deployed by three race teams at
Sebring, including Aston Martin (Prodrive); Dunlop Racing and Rebellion Race Team. The race
teams will use the communications system on a developmental testing basis on behalf of and
overseen by MRTC Motorsport Communications.

The dates during 2016 when this system will be deployed are December 12-16 inclusive.

The applicant requires eleven VHF frequency pairs as specified in this application for duplex
voice transmissions; five discrete simplex channels in the VHF range for voice transmissions;
and two, 25 kHz bandwidth frequencies in the UHF range for low-power telemetry
transmissions.

The applicant has consulted the ULS database with respect to the VHF and UHF channel ranges
sought and proposes what are believed to be unoccupied channels in the area of the Sebring
International Raceway and the Daytona International Raceway.

The “stop buzzer” contact on site on behalf of the applicant is Mr. Chris Lee, whose mobile
number is +44 7920130453. If a United States cellular number is required, undersigned counsel
will also serve as a stop buzzer contact, at (301) 351-3795.
