Application for Special Temporary Authority
File No. 1572-EX-ST-2016

PURPOSE OF STA AND FREQUENCY COORDINATION

The purpose of this STA is to further test an automobile racing communications system for voice
and telemetry that is in the developmental stage. The tests will occur at three different test
sessions in Florida at two different racetracks, and the system will be deployed by one race team
at each location, Onroak Racing. The race team will use the communications system on a
developmental testing basis on behalf of and overseen by MRTC Motorsport Communications.

The dates during 2016 when this system will be deployed are as follows:

Daytona Raceway: November 15-16 inclusive.
Sebring Raceway: December 6-8 inclusive and December 12-16 inclusive.

The applicant requires two frequency pairs as specified in this application in the VHF range for
duplex voice transmissions; two discrete simplex channels in the VHF range for voice
transmissions; and one, 25 kHz bandwidth frequency in the UHF range telemetry transmission.

The applicant has consulted the ULS database with respect to the VHF and UHF channel ranges
sought and proposes what are believed to be unoccupied channels in the area of the Sebring
International Raceway and the Daytona International Raceway. The Amateur Radio telemetry
UHF channel is unused in either area as a repeater input or output frequency.

The “stop buzzer” contact on site on behalf of the applicant is Mr. David Le Cleac’h, whose
mobile number is +336 88 24 42 44. If a United States cellular number is required, undersigned
counsel will also serve as a stop buzzer contact, at (301) 351-3795.

Other inquiries can be addressed to undersigned counsel for MRTC Motorsport
