Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This application proposes the use of a single, 24 MHz bandwidth channel in the band 3300-3400 MHz for terrestrial only testing of a one-way data communications system for racing cars in a private test over two separate one-day periods at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Mid-Ohio Motor Speedway. The STA is necessary because the system uses radio equipment that is not licenseable in the United States for the purpose set forth herein, due to the frequency range, and it is new technology under development.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Testing of a terrestrial only, trackside telemetry marshalling communications system, transmitting to racing cars of one race team during a private test.
