STA Application
1479-EX-ST-2017
Frequency Coordination Exhibit
Rob Chant Automobile Race
October 16, 2017

This application proposes the use of land mobile and one single microwave
channel for terrestrial only for two-way operational voice and telemetry during an
automobile racing event for a single racing team within the Pocono Raceway in Long
Pond, PA. An engineering analysis has shown that there should be no interference to any
licensed user of any of the land mobile band specified whatsoever. Should any FCC-
licensed or United States government station report interference during the proposed
operations, operation on that channel will immediately cease and not resume unless and
until the interference complaint is resolved.

Land mobile channels to be utilized during the race event have been investigated
using the Commission’s database and will be monitored on-site Technical coordination
staff will be on site during the race and channel monitoring and on-site frequency
coordination will insure against any interference. Given the location of these events, it is
anticipated that no interference will be caused to any land mobile operations.

Communications on site should be directed to Mr. Robert Chant, (+44 7872
103854) who will be the stop buzzer contact. Other communications can be directed to
the office of counsel for MRTC Motorsports Communications as follows:
