MRTC Motorsport Communications MRTC, Ltd. Application for Special Temporary Authority File No. 1099-EX-ST-2014 PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT The purpose of this amendment to the application for STA is to add two additional race teams at each location, Extreme Speed and AF Corse Racing, for the events January 9-11 and 22-25, 2015 at Daytona Motor Speedway and March 18-21, 2015 at the Sebring Raceway, both being in Florida. Both race teams will use the MRTC communications system on a developmental testing basis on behalf of and overseen by MRTC Motorsport Communications. Additional frequencies will be added to the STA application and five additional portable/mobile transmitters will be required. The applicant has consulted the ULS database with respect to the additional VHF and UHF channel ranges sought and proposes what are believed to be unoccupied channels in the area of the Sebring International Raceway and the Daytona International Raceway.
