                  PURPOSE OF STA AND FREQUENCY COORDINATION

The purpose of this STA is to further test an automobile racing communications system for voice
communciations that is in the developmental stage. The tests will occur at one racing event
during the period September 25-27, 2015 at a single racing venue. The system will be deployed
by the Porsche racing team. The race team will use the communications system on a
developmental testing basis on behalf of and overseen by MRTC Motorsport Communications.

The event during 2015 when this system will be deployed is as follows:

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Salinas, California : September 25-27, 2015 inclusive.

The applicant requires for this venue two VHF frequency pairs as specified in this application in
the range 164/169 MHz for duplex voice operations and two simplex channels in the 166-167
MHz range.

The applicant has consulted the ULS database with respect to the VHF channel ranges sought
and proposes what are believed to be unoccupied channels in the area of the Raceway. Similar
STAs have been granted for these same test operations at this and other venues in the past. See,
e.g. 0093-EX-ST-2014; 0096-EX-ST-2014; and 0316-EX-ST-2014.
