MIT Lincoln Laboratory STA Confirmation Number: EL579387 STA File Number: 1281‐EX‐ST‐2018 Exhibit 1 System Description MIT Lincoln Laboratory is developing a communications relay capability for the Department of Defense. In order to have a successful transition to the warfighter, we need to thoroughly test and evaluate our developed technologies including over‐the‐air and flight‐testing. The test system transmitters include two ground stations with an Ettus B210 software‐defined radio, a Mini‐Circuits power amplifier and Telewave dipole antenna and a relay on a high‐altitude balloon with an E310 software defined radio, an RFHIC amplifier and a SkySat dipole antenna.
