Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Logos Technologies is conducting a systems demonstration that utilizes frequencies between 14.600 - 14.830 GHz and 15.150 - 15.350 GHz for communication between the ground and a small aircraft flying at approximately 5000 feet. Orbit center: 34-59-32.7N 77-58-53.9W Radius: 20miles Airborne antenna: ATFLIR. Ku-Band, Omni-Directional Antenna. Gain ranges from -5.0 dB to 5.0dB. Ground antenna: Compact Lens Directional Antenna. Ku-Band. Gain is 19.8 dB.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To demonstrate very wide area imaging systems w/ real-time downlink to analysts on the ground. To demonstrate new and innovative very wide area imaging systems w/ real-time downlink to analysts on the ground, allowing just in time image exploitation. The system when fully developed is anticipated to provide real-time information to US forces engaged in counter-insurgency operations
