Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Applicant seeks short-term authorization of testing at the Lockheed Martin Electronic Test Site (ETS) of RF data acquisition hardware.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Applicant is developing a technology under an internal research program. These transmitters will validate the RF functionality of the environment to allow the unit under test to receive and process the RF data for further analysis. The selected carrier frequencies are only being used for validation purposes and will last on the order of microseconds per transmission. The transmitter will be turned ON only while we are actively collecting RF data. Applicant has begun coordination with in-band and adjacent-band operators.
