Why an Experimental License is Necessary:

The purpose of this application is to support temporary integration testing and operational
checks of the INMARSAT BGAN system.

Operation Description:

The INMARSAT system is used to send and receive IP packet and circuit-switched data
via Ethernet (Power over Ethernet) ports and the Integrated Services Digital Network
(ISDN) interfaces over the Inmarsat BGAN satellite network.

Table (1) lists the equipment specifications, including frequency band of operation,
transmitter output power, emissions, antenna types and gains, as well as maximum ERP.
