Mr. Ghaffari:

For the following three questions, Leidos assumes that the Commission is seeking information regarding
the VMT-18 terminal (which is a receive and transmit antenna), and not the orbiting spacecraft (satellite)
itself other than the beam type (narrow or global). If however, the Commission is seeking information
regarding the RX gain and beam width of the spacecraft or specific transponders utilized, then Leidos is
seeking information from ViaSat for additional information on details of the satellites that are utilized in
their network.

“Please provide the following information with respect to the satellite:”

1. Satellite coverage (Narrow Beam(NB) or Earth Coverage(EC)) : Narrow beam
2. Receive antenna gain: 34.8dBi
3. Beamwidth of the receive antenna at the half power points : 3.4°

For the following three questions, Leidos provides information regarding the VMT-18.

“Please provide the following information with respect the transceiver aircraft antenna:”

1. Transmit antenna gain (dbi) : 34.8dBi
2. Beamwidth of transmit antenna at the half-power points: 3.4°
