Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA is being requested to allow for a demonstration of transmitting equipment on TV channel 46 (662-668 MHz) during the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention. The STA is for the period of April 7 through April 14, 2011 (includes time for setup and testing prior to the start of the trade shown). The equipment will be operated only within the Las Vegas Convention Center with a maximum ERP of 2 Watts. All transmission will confirm to the ATSC standard for digital television. An OET-69 study (copy attached) indicates that no interference is predicted to be caused to any authorized facilities.
