1789-EX-ST-2018 EL853449 Experimental Description: To provide proof of concept for MPU-5 datalink supporting equipment onboard DC-3 aircraft. Transmit operations on the ground will be stationary. Airborne transmission will be limited to flight path within 30 km of ground unit. Flight path is north / north-east of Fresno, CA. Ground based antenna tracks the aircraft. Flight altitude for DC-3 is 15,000 ft AGL. Estimated flight time per test is 2.5 hours. No more than two tests per day. Estimated days of test is 26 Nov – 7 Dec however requesting until 21 Dec in case of weather or maintenance delays. Distance from ground unit and furthest airborne point is 22 km. Distance from KFAT to 1st point is 22 km. See diagram flight path information.
