To test low RF power in the mobile telephone frequency supporting an aircraft electromagnetic compatibility test.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To test low RF power in the mobile telephone frequency supporting an aircraft electromagnetic compatibility test. The aircraft test serves to demonstrate that the 787 modified aircraft is tolerant to select Transmitting Portable Electronic Devices (T-PEDs) which can broadcast across multiple T-PED technologies using a T-PED emulator (signal generator, antenna, amplifier) setup. The test will be performed at relatively low power levels inside an aircraft with doors closed, which will mitigate interference to commercial users. The aircraft will be located on the ramp outside the testing facility.
