The STA included the military Ka-band in-case a customer comes forward wanting a demonstration in
those frequencies. At this time, L-3 is working with USMC and US Army and therefore may need to use
the 20.2-21.2 and 30.0-31.0 GHz bands.

Response to questions:

a) Satellite name and orbital location that this terminal will communicate with:

Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellite time will require coordination with the interested military
sponsor. We do not have a current customer right now.

b) Specific RF testing parameters (frequency/emission designator/ERP…) for both the uplink
and downlink:

RF testing parameters would be similar to those indicated in the STA attachment. Final testing
parameters would be determined based on the military customers requirements and coordinated at that
time.

c) Name of military customer(s) that this STA will support:

L-3 anticipates that this antenna could be used on small UAS such as the Insitu Integrator for military
applications. As indicated above, CS-W is currently in discussions with the USMC and US Army.
