Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
L-3 builds TT&C communications antennas. We have been experiencing high passive intermodulation (PIM) distortion which causes transmitter noise to bleed into the receive band. We would like to perform factory PIM testing at our location. We need to radiate a CW signal at 2120 MHz with the antenna pointed at zenith away from the GEO arc. We will measure the receive subsystem PIM level.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  We must determine the amount of transmitter noise and intermodulation products in our receive band introduced by transmitting at full power at our upper transmit band edge frequency.
