STA will provide authority to test and demonstrate a fixed point-to-point link in a government exclusive band. The test and marketing demonstration are associated with a company funded activity and not part of a contracted effort.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Test and demonstrate commercially available data link equipment for application to government/military communication system needs. This could potentially provide great cost savings when compared to custom designed systems.
