1) What is the size of the proposed antenna(s)? Please submit antenna’s pattern
performances.

70 centimeters diameter (circular antenna). The antenna patterns are attached. These patterns
were previously submitted to the Commission as part of Kymeta’s application for blanket
licensing of the same antenna, Call Sign E170070.

2) Please submit a radiation hazard of the proposed antennas.

An RF Safety Study is attached. Kymeta notes that the terminal will only be tested in a fixed
mode, and only in areas that can be secured from access by the general public. Kymeta has
modified the on-line application to specify that it will operate from fixed locations, rather than
mobile.

3) Please provide Point of communication: Authorized GSO Ku-band or NGSO Ku-band
satellites or both?

Authorized GSO Ku-band satellites. On February 8, 2019, Kymeta provided a list of each of the
satellites in response to reference number 45817.

4) If the proposed satellite is GSO satellite, please demonstrate or certify the operation in
the 13.75-14 GHz band will meet the footnotesUS377, US356, and US 357, and Section
25.204(f) of the Commissions ‘rules.

Kymeta has modified the on-line application to specify that it seeks authority to operate in the
14.0 – 14.5 GHz band.

5) If the proposed satellite is NGSO satellite, Please demonstrate or certify that your
proposed operations in the 13.75-14 GHz band will meet the equivalent power Flux-density
levels in the Section 25.208(k) of the Commission’s rules and Table 22-2 of Article 22,
Section II, of the ITU radio Regulations.

Kymeta does not seek authority to communicate with an NGSO satellite, nor to operate in the
13.75 – 14.0 GHz band.

6) Please certify that your proposed operations and communication between earth stations
and satellites are in compliance with all existing or future coordination agreements between
the proposed satellite operators and other GSO and NGSO satellite networks.

Kymeta certifies that its proposed operations are in compliance with all existing coordination
agreements between the proposed satellite operators and other GSO and NGSO networks.
