Request for Special Temporary Authority

Amendment to Request for Special Temporary Authority

Iridium Satellite LLC (“Iridium”) hereby amends its request for special
temporary authority (“STA”), filed January 19, 2017, under FCC File No. 0083-EX-ST-
2017, to seek expedited consideration and to amend the start date of the STA from
February 15, 2017 to February 8, 2017.

As stated in its original STA request, Iridium is working with the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (“NASA”) to conduct experiments with the
Technical Educational Satellite -5 low earth orbit nanosatellite (“TechEdSat-5”). NASA
has informed Iridium that it is accelerating the schedule for releasing TechEdSat-5 from
the International Space Station. Because of this change, the TechEdSat-5 experiments
will begin earlier than had been anticipated.

Accordingly, Iridium is amending the start date for its STA request from
February 15, 2017, to February 8, 2017.
