Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Intermap Technologies is designing and building a new airborne, X-band Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (IFSAR), called STAR-6. The system will be used internationally to collect data for high-quality maps and digital elevation models (DEMs). We need to test the system and validate its performance in the next few months, prior to receiving a license to operate. We require an STA because we with to complete the system testing in Colorado and Texas, where we have easy access to personnel, and suitable test sites.
