DESCRIPTION OF APPLICATION FOR EXPERIMENTAL STA

Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”) requests experimental special temporary authority
(“STA”) for a period of six months to conduct in-flight demonstration and operation of two Ku-
band satellite earth station terminal types in connection with the continued development and
implementation of service to U.S. Government customers.

I. FREQUENCY, POWER AND EMISSION DATA

The table below lists the technical parameters for AMSS operations under the proposed
experimental license:

II. LOCATION

The mobile terminals will operate in the following locations: CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii,
U.S. Territories and possessions, as well as international and foreign airspace.
